This land is said to have been inhabited for 10,000 years. The native name for San Fidel is “Púñi Tsiama” which means “West Doorway,” and it’s the entrance to Laguna Pueblo from the west. This old Route 66 Café looks like a dump driving by, yet close up, it is a puzzling collage.
