SPACE AGE was photographed in Cubero, New Mexico in 2012. West of Albuquerque and the Laguna Pueblo, Hemmingway wrote part of The Old Man and the Sea in a nearby cafe. There I found a long yellow strip motel, with its center collapsed. From its window, it foretells the future.
